Hello, everyone and welcome to our first post!

I am Mrs Angela Cham, the Co-Founder of Impact Circle Education and I would like to bring you on a tour of Impact Circle Education and to know us better.

Mr Lennie Chua, the other Co-Founder of Impact Circle Education, and I have known each other as colleagues in Hillgrove Secondary School. I have always known him as an educator with a keen passion for developing students to their fullest potential and in empowering them with a belief in their abilities and strengths. As for me, I believe in providing effective guidance for my students to excel in their academic pursuits and imbuing in them a faith and belief that they can be changemakers in life.

With a common belief and faith in impacting students positively, Mr Lennie Chua, Mrs Gracia Chua, and I started discussions about setting up Impact Circle Education in 2019. As we gathered for our meetings, we fuelled and strengthened each other’s beliefs in what we want to do for our students – Impact them positively and effectively in their academic studies and holistic development.

At Impact Circle Education, we have a deep-seated belief in our effective and engaging online group lessons to improve our students’ results. We also believe that education is not solely about the pursuit of results without the development of their values and confidence. To achieve the twin goals of excellent academic results and holistic development, we develop a proprietary 3-Part Lesson Process to provide our students in our online group classes with continual engagement with our learning materials and lessons. Regular feedback on our students’ development is given to their parents so that they can work hand in hand with us.

Complimenting the structured and engaging 3-Part Lesson Process for our online lessons, we also provide the Holistic Development Programme for our students. As a year-long programme, the HDP offers opportunities for our students to set and review their learning goals throughout the year with their teachers as well as attend webinars on a wide range of topics on a quarterly basis. At the same time, we believe that building positive relationships with our students and their parents is important in helping our students develop confidence and competence in their academic pursuits.

Core to the robustness of our academic programmes is our Coaches. Mr Lennie Chua and I are really blessed to have a team of Coaches with the same heartbeat for developing our students. Like us, they were former MOE teachers with many years of teaching experience in their respective subjects. Together with them, we work towards bringing forth change in our students’ results and developing them to be confident in their abilities.
