Synopsis
Visualise yourself as a teenager, living in the world today. What do you hear in the media now compared to what we are exposed to 20 or even 10 years ago? How will you cope with the world today as a teenager, yourself? Have you ever heard or even said, “my parents don’t know what I am going through…”? What is the difference between the model of your world from your parents? How different then can the model of your child’s world be from yours? Does it seem that history is repeating itself now that you are a parent?
As a parent, we are the first and closest leader in the life of our children. Learn to EQUIP, EMPOWER them so that we can better RELEASE them with confidence into the real world.
As a leader, “nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care”– John Maxwell. As a leader of our child(ren), are we telling our children how much salt we had eaten, or are we demonstrating the life of salt to our children?
About the Speaker
John Lim, Founder of Life Transcends Services, a coaching and training company. John was ACTA certified, John Maxwell Team Certified, NLP practitioner, and aspire to be a influencing leader in the ESG movements.
Started training since 2011 to the poorer community in China in mandarin in China and a coaching practitioner in business, John had worked with many realized their personal values and purpose in life.
John started full time into training and coaching in 2022 when his father and John decide to scale down his family business to prepare for his father’s retirement. For the first 12 years in the family business, John grew the business from deficit to profit in 3 years, strategies with new business model & grew the business with staff strength of 13, until pandemic hit & the family ask for Dad to retire. In 2022, decide to retire & Ever since, John had focused on coaching young aspiring entrepreneurs, young professionals,
John envisions to help each person who had allowed John to journey with to discover their unique personal values, so that they can all become like little droplets that drop into the water, influencing the water quietly while creating ripple effects that impact the world.
